Our client’s enormous 46 inch (116 cm) tall antique German nef, likely of Hanau origin, is exquisitely crafted from gilt silver, circa 1900, in the form of a 17th century Spanish galleon ship. Exhibiting extraordinary details, it is supported by the finely sculpted figure of Neptune, Roman god of the sea, riding hippocampi. The finest silver nef we have seen and brought to market in our 22 years in business.  Weight:  13,960 g; 492 oz, 30.75 lbs.  Measures:  45 x 33 x 13 in; 115 x 85 x 33 cm.
