Bemis Call Combination Wrench Nut/Pipe 15 IN

$42.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a nice clean combination wrench for either nut or pipe work. It has a very clear maker's mark and logo. The mark on the one side reads "SS BEMIS & CALL BILLINGS SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A.". It measures 15.8" long overall. The condition of the wrench is good with a some minor dings and dents, mostly on the jaw edges, a few small areas on the jaws missing tiny chips of steel, very clean, no rust noted, has a solid hardwood handle with a long hairline crack from furrule to furrule, but contained by the furrule that wrap around the handle. The handle is protected from splitting any further with a steel furrule at each end. The wood has been tested and is still plenty strong/solid, fits very tightly. The handle has the design of the furrule and threaded end nut, keeps the handle hardwood from spliting, very solid hardwood. The jaw aligns nicely, and the ajustable jaw is spring loaded like a pipe wrench should be. No damage noted, not bent, a good straight, usable combination wrench! We note there is some wear on the pipe wrench teeth, but usable.  Also noted is the dings or dents on the side of the adjustable jaw, are mostly on the side having the maker's marked.  This one has the longer threaded adjustment nut. We have observed 3 different sizes by Bemis & Call in the past, this adjustment nut is 3.5" long, the longest style is 3.5" long. A good looking collectible wrench overall!
