Miniature antique black hand-carved elephant, measuring just 1.5 inches high. This charming little elephant, with white tusks, eyes, and toes, appears to be carved from a very hard black wood, perhaps ebony. The tusks, eyes, and toes appear to be bone or ivory. The piece is in very good condition for its age, with no chips or cracks, and light to moderate wear to the finish. Two of its white toes are missing.
