Quantity available: 1
This is a nice clean, unique, and rare model spiral push drill marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. MILLERS FALLS MASS. MADE IN U.S.A. NO. 81" . It is nearly the same as a North Brothers No. 41 from the same 1930's era. It features 8 compartments in the handle that have a total of 8 different sized drills markings on the outside of the handle in very small print, given in fraction and number size (this is unique as the North Bros. 41 doesn't have this feature, sizes are(from 1/16"-11/64"). In this style push drill there is metal webbing inside the storage compartent that forms 8 seperate compartments. Of the 8 different sizes of drills we have included a total of 7 with this push drill, (the smallest 1/16" size drill bit is missing from the full set) all 7 included are all different size, all in very good used to new condition, sharp, clean and ready to drill. The push drill is quite nice in appearance with about 95% of the nickel plating intact, very nicely polished finish, a few very minor scratches, and some minor pitting on the handle end cap, none effect the smooth spring loaded movement or use of this tool. Basically much like the North Brothers Yankee push drill in function, this one has the YANKEE brand style spring chuck (push the chuck sleeve forward to release the drill point inside, and is 9.37" long overall. This push drill uses the Yankee style drill bits with the end flat and notch on the shank. This push drill works great, with a good strong spring and good working spring chuck. A Nice clean tool! Millers Falls was a respected tool maker that manufacturered several models of push drill over a 70 year period. This is one of the rarest models they manufacturered, we have never offered one of this for sale in over 10 years. We have several other types of Millers Falls and other brand push drills on this website for you to compare also.
