Millers Falls No. 2B Hand Crank Hand Drill
This is a nice clean quality made egg beater type single speed hand drill marked "MILLERS FALLS CO. GREENFIELD MASS MADE IN U.S.A." on the chuck. This one is 14.4" long overall, and has a 3/8" diameter chuck capacity. The handles are hardwood with a rosewood type stain, and still in nice condition, except for color variations and some minor dings and specks of old green paint here and there. Overall the castings paint is about 95% intact overall. The gears and all the spindles are in great shape. The end handle is fixed in mounted firmly, (not inside drill storage as per the No. 2B design), all in good condition. The chuck on this style drill is 3 jaw type, spring loaded jaws, so the jaws spread open automatically when opening the chuck, closing the jaw close evenly central to the spindle. A good solid tool, ready to use or display!
