Or Best OfferThis "MADRID" Cup & Saucer came from a Old Time Jewelry Store that has called it quits and went out of business. They had a large amount of Fine china, Crystal, Jewelry, Collectable and I purcahsed the whole lot.. The Cup 3 7/8" wide by 2 7/8" tall and is flat. The Saucer is 6" wide. The set has never been used but has been stored away a very long time. It has no scuff or Utensil cuts or contact marks or chips or cracks. It has good colors (ORANGE) and pattern detail.The surface is brite White and smooth to the touch with a very high gloss. The multi Floral and Throphie patterns are perfect.This pattern is one of Spodes most famous early 19 th Century patterns so much so that they have reissued it in their Archives Series Edition. These items that I am offering here are from the original issue period of the early 19 th century and are seldom found or offered for sale in this condition. To the china pattern collector these items are of Museum Quality. It is back marked with the Spode mark of the era a incused mark and incused with the name COPELAND over the regestration # 90067.
