Our fine mantle clock in the Louis XVI style in the manner of Louis Simon Boizot (1743-1809) dates from the 19th century and features the patinated figures of neoclassical females, ormolu gilt surfaces, porcelain dial with Roman numerals and twin train movement.

Dial is signed Etienne Lenoir Paris after the firm founded by Étienne Lenoir (1699-1778).

Movement is stamped LESIEUR and numbered 811 for the Paris firm founded by Francois Eugene Lesieur in the late 18th century.
