Lost Lincoln Notes Found 1955 Article. This black and white April 22, 1955 article states on Sept. 15, 1858 in the courses of a debate with Stephen A. Douglas, Abraham Lincoln Scrawled some notes on a small piece of Paper. Top of paper was discovered by heirs of Lincolns Law Partner John Stuart. Collector King V. Hostick discovered the torn but priceless bottom portion of the notes. Picture shows Lincoln Lost Notes and King V. Hostick looking at Picture of Lincoln on wall.
