This is a limited edition, signed and numbered print, 684/875. Pencil signed lower right, William Muller depicting the Seaport “View from South Street, New York in 1892”.
The print is under two acid free mat boards, in a mahogany frame under glass. The print is in mint condition, the frame is in very good condition with scuff and use marks, and one tiny dust ball lower right. No serious damage. Biography: William G. Muller- Born: 1937. American Listed Artist, currently residing in Cape Cod, MA. Recognized by marine historians and curators as a master in his field, marine artist Bill Muller, in the time-honored tradition of sea painters, has lived what he paints. His canvases are imbued with a sensitivity, accuracy and vitality that comes only from first hand experience and a love for and deep understanding of his subject matter. Bill Muller is a living link to the days when majestic paddle steamers plied the Hudson River. He was employed on several of those graceful vessels in his youth, and served as quartermaster-pilot of the famous Alexander Hamilton, last of the classic sidewheelers.
