About the Artist:

Renato Longanesi (b. 1931) was an Italian artist who graduated from the Artistic Lyceum of Turin and was mentored by renowned painter Guise Sissoldo, a student of the famous Felice Casorati. Longanesi became known for his finely detailed seascapes and sailing vessels, exhibiting in art galleries in Turin and Milan. He lived and worked in Naples.
