Limoges Enameled Glass Perfume Bottle Casket
Our lovely French enameled and gilt glass fragrance casket, no doubt from Limoges, dates from the 18th to 19th century and features gilt bronze mounts and interior with six rock crystal perfume bottles with stoppers. The lid features a scene depicting gentlemen travelers apparently conducting a trade. The front depicts angels beside a blue family crest with fleur-de-lis, and rear features the profile of a distinguished woman. In good condition, with rubbing wear to the gilding and scratches.
