Li'l Abner Scmoo Struck Ad 1948 This is a September 20, 1948 advertisement It is a nice black and white comic of Lil Abner and the Shmoo. It is in cartoon form by Al Capp. It tells about the discovery of the Shmoos. Last picture reads, City Slicker who has come to Dogpatch to offer the natives a wage of $6.00 for 126 hours of hard labor a week, finds he has arrived a few days to late. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2"" wide by 12 1/2"" tall.
