Late nineteenth century to early twentieth century French provincial painted pine cased grandmother clock. Mechanics are original, two train striking hours and half hour on a cast bell. Spring driven, original painted dial, convex glass. Dial is untouched with a few minor blemishes (see photo), normal wear. Arabic numerals, moon hands. Never had finials as plinths show no evidence of ever having holes in them. Wonderful original condition and in fine running order.
