Our client's antique metal wash basin with lid, circa 1880s, hand-painted to look like wood has a charming painted lid honoring the adventures of Valentine Lawrence during the Alaska gold rush in 1881. A capitaving collectible from the Silver Bow Basin gold rush of 1881, it could also be used as a coffee or cocktail table, as-is, or with addition of a glass top.  33 1/2 inches long, 25 in wide and 13 in tall.

In good condition. Numerous scuffs, scratches, dents and bends.  Missing key.
