Our client's monumental porcelain urn of baluster form, 41 by 17 by 12 inches, features a waisted neck with portrait medallion and is finely painted with a mother watching over a young woman and a suiter at tea within gilt cartouche, a maiden sewing outdoors on reverse, flanked by gilt bronze upright acanthus-scroll handles with suspending rings on a conforming socle, and shaped gilt bronze square base. Cartouches signed Miguel.  Marked with crossed Ls in underglaze blue.  Provenance:  Christie's, New York, NY.

Overall condition is good. There are scratches, rubbing wear and oxidation to the bronze surfaces. Porcelain surfaces in good condition, with some rubbing wear, light scratches and noticeable scratch across the leg of the male and female's dress. Mounts are in good condition. The vase rotates smoothly. Vase leans slightly to one side. Vase was quite dusty when photographed , but is now very clean
