Kellogg's All-Bran Explodes Ad 1939 This is a March 13, 1939 advertisement. It is a nice black and white 1/2 page ad from Kellogg's of Battle Creek with nice graphics from an early magazine. It is written in cartoon form of The Captain and The Kids by Rudolph Dirks. It starts out with one of the Kids hitting the bottle with a sling shot and the Captain thinks the bottle explodes. Other 1/2 page is letters to the editor and letters written by Max Karant, Booton Herndon, Frank A Mountford, Arnold Neustadter, A E Shanley, Edgar F Goad and Thomas W Farnsworth Jr. Picture is of Shirley Ross's dress. In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet 1/2 page ad for Kellogg's measures 5 3/4" wide by 13 1/2" tall.
