This is an early Keen Kutter wood box w/lid and Keen Kutter Logo on the label. It measures 1.75 x 2.2 x 10" long. The box is in good+ condition with good solid lap joints in each corner. There appears to be a small piece of wood off the top part that would act as a stop when sliding the top in place, hardly noticeable. The box is clean with a dark brown patina. The label is also darkened and is about 90% intact, it reads "1/2 DOZ. SPECIAL AUGER BITS SIMMONS HARDWARE CO. KEEN KUTTER". The number for the augers is what is missing on the label. The top is straight and slide smoothly. A very hard to find box, from a well known quality tool maker!
