Kazuhide Takaham Totem Halogen Floor Lamp

This is the Totem floor lamp, designed by Kazuhide Takahama (Japanese, 1930- ), and produced in Milan by Sirrah, circa 1975. It is constructed from sheet metal with black enamelled finish, and features anodized golden on/off switch on the side, matching larger spheres at the base, and halogen bulb at the top. The speckled black granite base is new. Condition is excellent. There are no deep scratches and no dents. Takahama's designs are represented in many of the important museums around the globe, including the Museum of Modern Art ( MOMA ) in New York.
