Our bronze, entitled La Sentinelle, after an original model by Joaquin Angles (1865-1927) depicting an Arabian sentinel with rifle, stands 35 in (89 cm) tall and features a dark brown patina with underlying reddish brown patina and gilding on the rifle which was cast separately

In good condition, with abrasions from where the gun hilt rests on the base, but not visible when displayed. Other scattered scratches and rubbing wear, and some losses to the gilding decorating the rifle.
