Rare Signed Jimon Mexico   bruñido   Pottery Heart Trinket Box with egrets,  RARE .     It is a large sized container with a raised dome lid or "puffed heart".    The finish is  "bruñido ” which means burnished in Spanish.  Burnished pottery is not glazed, but rather given a slip – a suspension in water mixed with clay –  and then polished with a mineral, pyrite,

This item is vintage, previously owned and in excellent condition with expection of the inside rip where the lid fits.  There is merely some wear to the painted or finish.  There are no chips or dings.  The outside shows no wear.   It is 4.5" long x 4.25": wide and about 4" tall.   Perfect for gift.
