After meeting Ansel Adams in 1971 at a photography workshop, Jeff Nixon moved to Yosemite Valley in 1973, and has called it home ever since. He has worked as a photographic assistant to Chris Rainier, John Sexton, Rod Dresser, and Morley Baer. He is a commercial photographer has been a photographic instructor for the Yosemite Association, The Friends of Photography, Center for Photographic Art/Monterey, and other workshops.
