This wonderful console table, crafted from brushed and chromium-plated steel, glass and painted wood, was designed by Jay Spectre (1929-1992), circa 1980,  the legendary designer of interiors and furniture. Measures: 35 x 38 x 16 in (89 x 97 x 41 cm). The principal of Jay Spectre Inc., his partner was Geoffrey Bradfield, the very widely respected and influential designer based in New York.  His designs often exhibited influence from Art Deco and Asian styles, and featured high-tech and hand-crafted elements.  In 1986 he was elected to the Interior Design Magazine Hall of Fame.
