Japenese Bizen Ware Wood Fired red - streak pottery vase or saki bottle with a minimalist appeal.      It is clearly signed on the lower side of the vase but as a non Japanese speaker I don't know  what is says.   The finish is matte and the texture is quite smooth..  The base color is a grayish brown with a very slight hint of green in certain lights.  And it has streaks of orange .   For the most part it appear to be a wheel turned vase with such an unusual shape like a bowling pin but much more slender.   It is 11' tall and heavy for the size.  The condition is excellent.
