Iver Johnson Safety Rifle The Modern 22 Ad 1931 This is a September 1931 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from Iver Johnsons Arms and Cycle works of Fitchburg, Mass. Ad shows a young man walking at the edge of an open field, has a gun cradled in his arm. Ad reads, At last here is a real safety rifle. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 3 inches wide by 7 3/4 inches tall.
