Superb quality, early 18th century, Northern Indian Mughal matchlock musket -Toradar. DETAILS: steel side panels with pierced borders, long 118.8 cm (46 ¾ inches) tapered octagonal barrel, seven brass barrel bands, silver ramrod pipe complete with steel ramrod, mahogany full stock and ebonized serpentine housing, stock of typical form with slender butt of pentagonal form ended with horn buttpads, pierced steel leaf form trigger.
CONDITION: excellent.
MEASUREMENTS: overall length: 169 cm (66 ¼ inches).
