Our beautiful oil on wooden panel depicts a procession of visitors paying respects to an empress or sultana in her palace.  Possibly signed in the lower right corner, but obscured by later inpainting for unknown reason.  Panel measures approximately 19.5 by 15.5 inches and the giltwood frame measures 24.25 by 28.25 by 3 inches.
