Huge figural bust of an Art Nouveau woman with a massive headress. Done by one of the finest firms of the art noveau period. Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel Amphora, a pottery factory in Trnovany, Czech Republic (Turn-Teplitz, Bohemia Austria) The company was founded in 1892 by Riessner, Stellmacher & Kessel. 1892 - 1905 the mark reflected the three owners with the initials "RStK."

This beauty satnds 18" tall and about 18" wide. Impressive heavy piece circa 1900 at the height of the art noveau movement. Look at all the fine details of the hat and tassels from it. Outstanding modeling. Repaired area of the hat as expected but a impressive piece with really presence.
