Household/ Blown Glass Figural/Red Cased Swan

A really pretty blown glass figural. It is red glass encased inside clear. The base appears to have been blown into a mold and the freeform bird was attatched to it after it cooled. There are no marks that I recognize. There is a star shaped flower type design in the base and this could be a mark for a maker, but I have been unable to find out. There are manufacture flaws, indentations on the sides where it was handled, etc. The tail has has a knock on the end and is rough, but I do not believe it has a piece broken off. It is just a small chip, only noticable when you rub your finger across it. I call it a swan, but who knows, it is just a lovely bird! It measures approx. 7 1/2" tall and 3 1/2" across the base.
