Hires Root Beer Check Please Ad 1937 This is a June 21, 1937 advertisement. It is a nice black and white ad from The Charles E Hires Company of Philadelphia with nice graphics from an early magazine. This young man has treated his best girl to a Hires and is asking for the check. Look at the way he is dressed with his Argyle socks.! Cute !! In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 9 1/2" wide by 12" tall.
