This could be worn either as a hat ornament or a lapel pin. Because od the size of the "pin", I lean towards the hat. The rhinestones are glass.They show signs they are beginning to turn. They are glued in. It does need a pin back. It still has a lot of life left. It is approx. 1" across. The shipping fees quoted are for first class/No insurance in USA.
