Hand-Painted and Hand-Fired Inca Peruvian Clay Plate, from Cuzco
Hand-Painted and Hand-Fired Peruvian Clay Plate from Cuzco for hanging on the wall. Features a birds over the mountains and many different geometric motifs. The plate is 10" across. It is hand made with red clay similar to that of talavera. There is some paint wear to the rim and a few other very minor imperfections in the clay...which is , like talavera of Mexico, typical of hand crafted pottery done by the local inhabitants of this area of Peru.
