Hand Colored Lithograph, Provincial Family Viewing Artwork, Elaborate Wood Frame
Since this lithograph, with vivid hand-coloring, appears to be unsigned, I could not find any information about the artwork nor the artist. It is a very interesting piece as it shows a very unlikely 19th century provincial family of five viewing artwork at a museum or art gallery, with more fashionable people of the day nearby. From the clothing, the family appears to be Eastern European, possibly Russian or Polish.
The artwork measures about 8" x 10" and with the frame, the entire piece measures, 11 1/4" x 13". This has a non-glare glass covering the piece. Circa, 1960's.
