Green Giant Portrait of A Promise Ad 1943 This is an October 4, 1943 advertisement It is a nice color ad from Minnesota Valley Canning Company of Le Suer, Minnesota. This ad has a framed picture of two cans of vegetables. A can of corn and a can of peas. The label is partly off of each can. It is titled Portrait of a Promise. It reads, There is more than just a promise to pay behind an honest label. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
