Offering this wonderful old pickling crock / preserving jar in the perfect country cottage - shabby chic green with black banding around top and bottom. Measures 9 1/2 inches tall by 7 1/2 inches in diameter. Applied ear handles. Very good condition, no cracks, a few nicks on inside top rim and one very small chip on bottom underside. No lid. Very light crazing all over and light wear on the black trim; which adds such character. No identifying marks as to maker. Age approximately 1920-40's, could possibly be older, could not find any reference to this color. This is a must have piece for your country primitive, cottage, or shabby chic decor!
