Gimbels Pinafore Frock Ad 1947 This is a May 27, 1947 advertisement. It is a nice color ad from Gimbels Basement of NYC Ad shows a lady wearing a sunback pinafore dress in fine preshrunk percale. Made by Ely and Walker. Red and white stripe with shawl collar, bias cut front pockets and self belt. It is the Jane Clay dress. In excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This original magazine tear sheet measures approx.5 3/8 inches wide by 13 1/4 inches tall.
