Our pair of nineteenth century bouillotte style lamps feature gilt bronze standards in urn form depictings female figures in classical robes, after the design by Claude Michel (1738-1814), also known as Clodion, with lamp hardware added in the ealry twentieth century, including finely crafted metal shades with painted classical decorations.  Urns are 18 in tall and the shads measure 17 in across.
