Georg [George] Jensen Blossom pattern # 2B sterling silver hollowware oval serving bowl. This sterling silver server bowl measures approx. 11" in length, 7 3/4" in width, and 2.5" in height. This bowl is in fine original condition with no signs of prior restoration, and has been recently polished. Impressed with authentic "Georg Jensen Denmark Sterling" insignia and marked with the pattern # 2B [Blossom]. Circa 1919. Georg Jensen is one of the greatest silversmiths of all time. Soon after he opened his workshop in 1904 his unique flatware, jewelry and hollow ware became world famous. Today Georg Jensen’s silver art is just as alive,vibrant, and extremely desirable as when he first designed it.
