Our client's finely cast and patinated bronze sculpture by the Meiji period master, Genryusai Seiya, depicts a tiger battling a alliagator (or crocodile) and is mounted on beautifullly carved wooden base with rolling wave motif.  Approximately 26 inches across.  Bronze with the seal mark that reads Dai-Nihon Genryusai Seiya zo [Made by Genryusai Seiya, Great Japan] 大日本 源龍斎 誠谷造.  Measures including wooden base are 34 by 14 by 14 inches.
