General Motors Quiet Test on Roads Ad 1965 This is a May 21, 1965 advertisement It is a nice color ad from General Motors of Detroit. Ad pictures two cars being driven side by side, one on dirt and the other on a paved road. It reads, ""To test how quietly a car rides, we use a special rough road, two cars connected by cable, then a jury of six engineers and stereos fine tuned to Beethoven>"" In mint condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 13 3/4"" tall.
