Gaines Cocker Spaniel Christmas Ad 1945 This is a December 10, 1945 advertisement It is a nice black and white with some color ad from Gaines Dog Food. The picture is black and white and some of the lettering is in red. Pictures a Cocker Spaniel looking up the chimney and it reads, What a wonderful Santa you can be by nourishing every inch of your dog with Gaines. Has some fraying, possibly 1/8"" , at the top of the picture otherwise in excellent condition. Photo is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad. This magazine tear sheet measures 10 1/4"" wide by 14"" tall.
