Fulton Tool Transitional Plane 18" Rare & Nice!

$120.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a very good used transitional plane marked "FULTON TOOL CO. WARRENTED" on the cutter. Overall the plane is in very good condition with about 90% of it's original black Japanning intact on the upper section, and about 90% of the original finish on the hardwood lower section and handle. The front knob and rear tote are both hardwood, both solid in very good shape, some minor wear, a few small dings, no cracks. The cutter is sharp and about 85% intact, with very little wear, very clean all around and sharp, ready to use. The bare metal on the cutter has a slightly darkened patina. Overall a very nice, hard to find plane, by a quality maker. Much like a Stanley No. 28, but this Fulton has a 2" wide cutter.
