French Empire Period Gilt and Patinated Figural Candelabra
Our wonderful pair of Empire period candelabra, circa 1810-1820s, feature the finely sculpted and patinated figures of neoclassical females standing on round pedestals of white and bleur turquin marble with gilt bronze mounts, holding candelabra with three candle holders and taller central stems with chains connected to each candle arm.
Each 23.5 by 10.25 by 7.5 inches.
Condition of each is good. There are some small restorations to losses to the cylindrical white marble pedestals. There is oxidation to the gilt surfaces, rubbing wear and scratches, all consistent with age and good care.
