Unavailable
Framed antique Charles Bosseron Chambers (1883-1964) portrait of a young woman print, circa 1930's or earlier. The painter Charles Bosseron Chambers was known for his portraits and religious works. It is said that he was masterful in his portrayal of female expressions. This piece depicts a beautiful young woman in profile, with stylishly cut dark hair, in a background of green hues. Chambers' distinctive signature is seen in the lower left hand corner. The print appears to be in the original gilded wood frame with the original, slightly wavy glass. The piece measures about 16 inches by 13.25 inches. Condition is very good, with intact glass, light wear to the frame, and a clean print. There is some waviness to the print, with a light crease running from the upper right third through the neck that can be seen at certain angles, and the outside paper backing is missing. Please refer to the 4 photographs for appearance and condition. Shipping / packaging will be $20.00.
