Flow Blue, Troy by Grindley & Co Butter dish?, This is one of those pieces that you just can't quite figure out what they served in it. It lets water go below, could have been from ice or the excess water from butter or cheese or just a funny stand. Either way, it is unique and a very nice example of a quality flow blue piece. It is well marked on the bottom. The pattern is Troy, by Grindley with a Rd No of 64490. This has the wonderful logo that shows the steamship. It is mint condition except for the hairline (or crack as I don't know what you consider this), it is on the foot, you can feel and see it, see photos.6 1/4 x 2""
