Figurative Bronze After Bruno Zach with Brass Stand

Unavailable

Our lovely bronze of an elegant nude female in fur coat, circa 1920s, after the original model by Bruno Zach (1891-1945), is mounted on round stone plinth of stacked onyz or alabaster, mounted to a cast brass stand with round stone top featuring pierced cherry blossom spandrels atop arched legs.  An extraordinary example of Art Deco design.  The bronze is signed at the base and marked "Austria".  The bronze figure measures 13 3/4 inches tall and the overall height is 51 inches.

In good condition. A cylindrical brass spacer enclosing a mounting screw is missing from one leg. We believe a facsimile replacement could be easily sourced.
