Our fabulous pair of silvered and ormolu bronze candelabra after Ernest Albert Carrier-Belleuse (1824-1887) are modeled as l'enfant pecheur and l'enfant chasseur (child fisherman and hunter), holding their bounty in one hand, and in their other a stalk of flowering reeds and bull rushes fashioned into nine candlearms. Each on a patera-mounted and footed marble pedestals.  36.5 in tall and 16.5 in across (92.5 by 42 cm).  Signed "A. Carrier".

The finest and most unusual candelabra after a model by Carrier-Belleuse we have seen in our 20 years in business.
