Farnsworth Television and Radio The Moldau 1949 ad. This color October 13, 1949 ad states The Capehart, the worlds finest instrument for musical reproduction. The River that speaks Czech, Freedom kindled the blood of the great Czech composer Friedrich Smetana. Picture shows the Moldau, symphonic poem from the cycle, My country by Friedrich Smetana, interpreted for the Capehart collection by Robert Riggs. Also shows two men on horses blowing horns with people dancing and waving. Magazine tear sheet picture is taken through plastic and may show wrinkles or crookedness that is not in the ad.
