This is a vintage oil painting on canvas depicting two Jewish boys holding a book, a palm branch, and a lemon. Signed in the lower right by Famous Hungarian Artist Hungarian-Jewish Artist Zoltan Szemerey 1908-2009. Zoltan Szemerey was a famous, Jewish artist in Hungary with works hanging in the parliament building but during WWII, Hitler destroyed many works of Jewish Painters. Collectible Judaica Fine Art. Nicely framed. Condition: light vertical scratch in the middle, small tear on the boy's hat. Please look at the photos to see the details. Framed measuring 26.5" x 30.5", painting measures 19.5" x 23.5".
