Ephemera/Post Card From Monterrey N.L. Mexico

$6.00
Quantity available: 1

This is a lovely sepia toned/black&white photo. The caption on the front is as follows: MF 86 BALNEARIO DEL 13 Monterret N.L." I found out the word balneario translates to spa and that makes the photo make more sense. I do not know what the "artisticly written" MF is supposed to mean. It was sent through the post by a woman to her friends back at work. It is addressed to "Telephone Operators" c/o Telephone Co, 500 West Chestnut, Denison, Texas USA. When I was still in Denison, the building is still there, and I believe the phone company still owns it. Jackie was there in Mexico with her "old man" and they were "painting the town red" according to her written note to her friends! The stamp is a 6 cent canceled 26 Feb. 46. The fees quoted for shipping are for first class/No insurance in USA.
