Here is a wonderful piece of ephemera from the CZ! This is a Christmas card from the CZ. It has a photo of a plam tree lines street with a Christmas poem. The original canceled envelope has the post mark-BALBOA C.Z. dated Dec15 1130AM and 1921 outside the circle. The stamp has a football shaped cancel stamp. It is signed, the name possibly Furman Hair. It was sent to a young lady at the Dept. of Education, Austin, Texas. The return address is Balboa Heights, The Panama Canal Zone. The envelope is torn open on the end and there is a tear in the bottom of the envelope. The card is in excellent condition. The fees quoted for shipping are for first class/no insurance in USA.
